Slightly higher water run on the NF American

Well, the South Yuba didn't come up as much as I (and everyone else) was hoping. So I headed back to the NF American again today. But with a little more water and a bunch of different people. It's always interesting how the people you boat with can change your experience on the river - sometimes it is interesting that it doesn't change your experience. On Saturday we had a big crew with a bunch of hard core boaters, mostly younger than I, who just flew down the river without much thought. Lot's of random little conversations centered around boating, life's everyday happenings and plans for the evening. Today was a slightly older and more conservative crowd with many years of river experience. And the conversations centered around boating, , life's everyday happenings and plans for the evening. Both days were good fun with good people and what makes river kayaking the most social boating I do.
